How's life yardline nation? Hold on to your face it's time to enter week 3 action of local high school pigskin.
Not going lie to this year has been crazy thus far on the gridiron. Week 2 BLEW MY MIND....Stockdale and BHS went all Drago vs. Rocky on us.
I could not believe the swing-fest these two schools put together...in my short one and half seasons covering high school football in Kern County this is by far the best game I've seen.
Both teams proved that they are the cream of the crop locally...hold on hold on Frontier, Centennial, and Liberty fans I hear your cries.
Ok on that note Frontier I AM FEELLLLIN YOU....I like this nice string of solid football you guys have put together! Unfortunately I have not see the Titans play live yet...but from the highlights I've seen you guys keep things clean and are an organized squad.
Centennial is for real too. Bonesaw has come back not in the stands...rather on the field. I am continually impressed by that defense and the absolute filthy play by Cody Kessler. Keep living the dream bonesaw and enjoy your Freedom bowl win....God Bless America...WHO LOVES AMERICA?
Liberty is the best 0-2 team known to humans on earth today. They got edged by Clovis West week zero...only to bounce back week 2 and well fall flat to Centennial. Head Coach Tony Mills knows how to win...he also know about a little place called MUNCIE, INDIANA....I foresee the Red, White, And Blue back on track in nooooo time.
Here's my life week 3 yardline nation: I will be up in the 559 at Stockdale vs. Clovis for the first half then wrapping things up by going to BHS vs. Buchanan. Come up and say hi to the yardline cam...I'll be sporting our sick t-shirts once again.
LIVE THE DREAM.
OUT.
Ohhhh and keep watching my baby: THE XTRA POINT

Yardline Nation Is Alive And Amplified!
Kern County....America....FEEEELIN YOU!
Alright boys and girls it's football season once again across the glorious Golden State...as for me I am stoked for some central valley pigskin to kick off locally tonight.
Week 1 is always exciting...it's like a first date...conformable yet slightly awkward. At least that's my dating experience. Here's the deal if you want your top matches for week 1 keep it historic...for your health! The legacy of Bakersfield High football looks to take care of our friends to the south Canyons tonight at home. Driller pride to put it context..is well....infectious in the best way possible. Hope Danny and Dotty Driller bring the noise tonight.
The other history laced school set to kick off their 09 campaign is the Garces Rams as the mountain men of Tehachapi travel down to re-new that rivalry here in Bakersfield.
My favorite thing about these two teams: classy. Just flat out classy kids...classy coaches....put it this was if they went to a tailgate leave your ground chuck at home and hit me with some mahi mahi. Good luck to both Coach Fanucchi and Coach Denman (The Ole' Ball Coach) in tonight's clash.
Couple of notes: I am slated to be at Porterville at North...then finishing up at the Garces game...look for me sporting the sick 23 Yardline t-shirt...come up say hi...we can mingle...hey who knows I get your mug on the 23 yardline.
As for now Yardline Nation ....MANDIK OUT
