Im ready for some ball in many senses. 

Im ready for some week 3 local high school football. 

Excited to see if BHS can bounce back after getting hosed by the refs last week at Stockdale.

Stangs fans must hate me...I walked out of Stockdale last week just giving the business to the officiating. I still believe BHS is a better team  considering they were playing two types of horses Mustangs and Zebras. Whammy! 

Heres your love Stangs fans....it will be a bloodbath tonight when the black and silver takes on Clovis. 

By the way, my last blog joint I RIPPED fans (or lack of fans) in Bakersfield for not showing up in full force to local high school football games. Stangs and Driller fans came out in like no other big props kids.  

Alright on the college football side some wacky happenings going down from central to southern california. 

Fresno State got into a  shootout with Toledo in the Glass Bowl. 

It took "the valleys team" 2 ot's to beat a middle of the road mid-american team. 

I would challenge the Bulldogs to step up and take on my undefeated Ball State Cardinals. 

The red and white just got finished running over the Indiana Hoosiers (called it) and now are on to steamroll Kent State tomorrow for homecoming. 

I would want more than anything to be with my girlfriend Pam tailgating at tomorrows game. Most likely she would have to restrain me from taunting Kent State fans...and I would probably just show up in red and white paint covered only by my purple zebra speedo. 

So in that sense I guess its not so bad Im working. 

Final Score BSU 45 Kent State 10. 

USC went into crazy Corvallis and lost last night. 

USC now has more losses than BSU...Whammy! 

Just found out the my white sox are getting gassed by the Indians...I can't keep typing....ugh pale hose.

Right now my Packers are undefeated as are my Ball State Cardinals. 

Life is good. 

Green Bay looks so fluid on offense. Aaron Rodgers is the real deal...but I will admit he his aided by the likes of Donald Driver, Greg Jennings, James, Jones, and Jordy Nelson. 

Yup get to know the Jordy. 

Also if you don't know the Ball State Cardinals live in the now brosef. 

Nasty Nate Davis And Dante Love me some me take on Indiana University this Saturday. 

IU is an armpit...my prediction BSU tops the Hoosiers 30-20. 

I don't want to short stick my Chicago White Sox. 

The South Siders are poised to make the post-season after a a beat down on some team called the Detroit Tigers. 

Ok that was a cheap shot...my girlfriend Pam is a big Tigers fan. 

I know she's reading this thinking, "why are we always in a competition"? 

I find it attractive when any girl is into sports and can understand a mans needs when it comes to sports time. 

Pam is very understanding...point and case. 

I hung up with her the other day when the Packers began losing to the lions. 

After two pick 6's I called her back. 

Thats how that works. :) 

On the high school football scene we are only 2 weeks deep and I can tell you two things about this high school football here. 

The fans are non-existent. 

Secondly, rivalries are non-existent. 

I was at the biggest game in the state...arguably on the entire west coast between BCHS and Oaks. 

Where were the fans?

The painted faces and chests?

The signs?

The "you can't do that" chants. 

Everyone in Kern County needs a field trip to the midwest to learn how to be football fans. 

Oh and by the way rivalries are at best watered down.

Nuff said, on the local level I am live tonight at Bakersfield Christian versus Oaks Christian.
Being a mid-west guy the only reason we know Oaks is because of Jimmy Clausen the Notre Dame quarterback. Now I find out Jimmy Clausen looks like Moses Moreno compared to the Oaks roster. Hmm...I don't know lets try....Nick MONTANA...Trey SMITH...and Trevor GRETZKY.
For those of you living under a rock thats Joe Montana's kid, Will Smith's kid, and The Great One Wayne Gretzky's kid.

On a personal level my alma matter of Ball State is on ESPN tonight taking on Navy. Thats right the red and white tonight on ESPN. Not ESPN 2....not the duce...not ESPN 8 the Ocho with Cotton McNight...E-S-P-N. Under center tonight the world gets to meet No-Laces Nasty Nate Davis who makes JaMarcus Russel's arm look like slurpee straw. I have tivo and was planning on coming home and watching it tonight. Instead I have my girlfriend Pam sending me text updates from the nest. I know what your thinking yes I am that good of a boy friend to let my girl send me text updates. Prediction BSU 30-27 over Navy. FIGHT FIGHT FOR BALL STATE!

Also I picked up season 4 of The Office.
Second favorite show of all time behind Saved By The Bell.
